NusaPedia: Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to publishing pioneering, high-impact research that transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries. Serving as a global crucible for horizontal scientific synthesis, the journal provides an authoritative intellectual platform where social sciences, humanities, formal sciences, and applied technologies converge. NusaPedia prioritizes macro-level conceptualizations, rigorous empirical investigations, and innovative cross-disciplinary frameworks that address complex, multi-faceted global challenges. By bridging fragmented academic silos and fostering collaborative intelligence, the journal seeks to accelerate systemic innovation, promote sustainable development, and cultivate a holistic understanding of human, technological, and environmental progress in a rapidly evolving global ecosystem.

Scope and Topics

The journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, critical reviews, and conceptual papers that offer significant contributions across, between, and beyond the following broad thematic clusters:

  • Applied Sciences, Technology & Digital Innovation: Emerging computing technologies, smart systems, material science, engineering solutions, and the socio-technical impacts of digital transformation.

  • Social Sciences, Governance & Public Policy: Comparative structural sociology, public administration reform, modern economic dynamics, legal studies, and sustainable urban-rural communities.

  • Humanities, Culture & Contemporary Education: Critical discourse studies, historical-cultural preservation, philosophy, innovative pedagogies, and the evolution of global identities.

  • Environmental Studies & Global Sustainability: Climate change mitigation, socio-ecological resilience, political ecology, green technologies, and bio-resource management.

  • Health Sciences & Community Wellness: Public health interventions, epidemiology, lifestyle medicine, healthcare management systems, and the social determinants of health.

Publication Frequency

To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and timely dissemination of multidisciplinary discoveries, NusaPedia is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues targeting urgent global challenges or emergent interdisciplinary fields may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process

NusaPedia enforces a strict double-blind peer review policy to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and methodological objectivity.

  1. Initial Desk Evaluation: Every submission undergoes a preliminary screening by the Editor-in-Chief or a relevant Subject Matter Editor to assess interdisciplinary alignment, structural compliance, and ethical validity. Plagiarism screening via Turnitin/iThenticate is strictly executed at this stage, requiring a similarity index below the journal's maximum threshold.

  2. Expert Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the desk evaluation are anonymized and assigned to at least two independent international reviewers from complementary scientific backgrounds matching the manuscript's core methodologies.

  3. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editorial Board renders one of four decisions: Acceptance, Revisions Required (Minor/Major), Resubmit for Review, or Rejection. The final decision rests entirely on the academic merit, empirical rigor, and innovative value of the work.

Mission Statement

The mission of NusaPedia is to deconstruct disciplinary barriers and catalyze collaborative breakthroughs within an increasingly complex and interconnected world. Grounded in the philosophy that the most critical global challenges cannot be solved by a single field of study, the journal aims to democratize knowledge by providing an unrestricted, high-impact platform for global scholarly dialogue. Through the promotion of diverse and robust methodological approaches—ranging from advanced quantitative modeling to deep qualitative ethnographies—NusaPedia seeks to empower researchers, inspire industrial and social innovators, and shape integrated policies for a sustainable future.
