EduTechPedia: Journal of Educational Technology and Learning Innovation is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to publishing pioneering research at the vanguard of digital pedagogy, instructional design, and systemic educational transformations. Positioned at the critical intersection of the learning sciences, computer engineering, and educational psychology, the journal serves as an authoritative scholarly forum for educational technologists, curriculum architects, software developers, and academic researchers worldwide. EduTechPedia prioritizes macro-level conceptualizations, rigorous empirical investigations, and disruptive learning frameworks that examine the integration of emergent technologies within formal, informal, and lifelong learning environments. By bridging complex computational architectures with modern cognitive and behavioral learning doctrines, the journal fosters a deep, multi-scalar understanding of knowledge optimization, digital literacy, and educational equity in a hyper-connected global society.

Scope and Topics

The journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, critical reviews, and conceptual papers that offer significant contributions to the following thematic areas:

  • Emergent Technologies & Intelligent Learning Systems: Artificial Intelligence in education (AIEd), adaptive and personalized learning paths, natural language processing for automated tutoring, and smart classroom infrastructures.

  • Immersive Learning & Virtual Environments: The pedagogical application of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (XR), educational gamification architectures, and simulation-based training.

  • Digital Pedagogy, Blended Learning & Online Frameworks: Instructional design models for MOOCs, micro-learning mechanics, hybrid classroom dynamics, and mobile-assisted language and technical learning (MALL/MALLT).

  • Learning Analytics, Data Science & Assessment Ethics: Predictive modeling of student performance, educational data mining (EDM), digital assessment innovations, and data privacy frameworks in institutional tech adoption.

  • Digital Literacy, Inclusivity & Educational Policy: Mitigating the digital divide, assistive educational technologies for neurodivergent learners, open educational resources (OER), and national policies for digital transformation in education.

Publication Frequency

To ensure rigorous editorial oversight, thorough peer review, and timely dissemination of cutting-edge educational breakthroughs, EduTechPedia is published semi-annually (2 issues per year, typically scheduled for release in June and December). Special thematic issues targeting urgent technological disruptions, global digital transformations, or innovative instructional milestone responses may be commissioned by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process

EduTechPedia enforces a strict double-blind peer review policy to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and methodological validity.

  1. Initial Desk Evaluation: Every submission undergoes a preliminary screening by the Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor to evaluate thematic alignment, pedagogical soundness, and structural compliance. Plagiarism screening via Turnitin/iThenticate is strictly executed at this stage, requiring a similarity index below the journal's maximum threshold.

  2. Expert Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the desk evaluation are anonymized and assigned to at least two independent international reviewers who are established experts in the domains of educational technology and learning innovation.

  3. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editorial Board renders one of four decisions: Acceptance, Revisions Required (Minor/Major), Resubmit for Review, or Rejection. The final decision rests entirely on the intellectual merit, empirical rigor, and transformative potential of the work.

Mission Statement

The mission of EduTechPedia is to deconstruct instructional complexities and catalyze ethical technological acceleration within an increasingly digital global learning landscape. Grounded in the philosophy that transparent, secure, and human-centric educational technology is a fundamental anchor for democratic knowledge dissemination and human capital development, the journal aims to democratize learning advancements by providing an unrestricted, high-impact platform for global scholarly dialogue. Through the promotion of diverse and robust methodological approaches—encompassing quantitative experimental designs, qualitative action research, and mixed-method learning analytics—EduTechPedia seeks to empower technology architects, inspire pedagogical innovators, and shape future-proof regulatory policies for global digital education.
